This is not nostalgia.
This is how modern alternative radio was built.

Kick Out the Jams: The Story of XFM charts the rise of a small London radio station that redefined what could be heard on British airwaves.

Born out of pirate radio in the early 1990s, XFM fought its way onto FM in 1997 and became a launchpad for alternative music, new voices, and cultural change. The film brings together presenters, artists, and industry figures to tell the story from the inside, with archive, interviews, and first-hand accounts.
